About this Event
Watch top mobility and advanced-tech startups evaluated live as GAMIC semifinalists compete for a spot in the finals.
The GAMIC Semifinals bring together a curated group of high-potential startups from this year’s Global Automotive & Mobility Innovation Challenge as they advance toward the finals.
At this stage, companies have already progressed through earlier rounds and are now presenting to a panel of expert evaluators. Attendees will experience live startup presentations, informed questioning, and real-time evaluation grounded in market demand, industrial feasibility, and strategic alignment.
This event offers a front-row view into how emerging innovation is assessed for real-world adoption across mobility, advanced manufacturing, AI, and related technologies. Rather than promotional pitching, the focus is on interpretation — helping industry stakeholders understand which signals matter, why they matter, and how they align with real industry pathways.
The GAMIC Semifinals are sponsored by IAV and held in partnership with the University of Michigan – Dearborn, College of Engineering & Computer Science, reinforcing the Challenge’s emphasis on applied engineering, technical rigor, and credible evaluation.
Venue note:
The event will take place at the University of Michigan–Dearborn College of Business, Michigan East Hall. While the College of Engineering & Computer Science is the event partner, the College of Business is providing the event space. On-site signage will be in place to direct attendees from parking areas to the correct venue and room.
