Semifinals 2025

GAMIC Semifinals 2025

SAE International and MI Innovation Alliance invite you to join us on Wednesday February 19 for the 17th Annual Global Automotive & Mobility Innovation Challenge (GAMIC) at University of Michigan-Dearborn in Dearborn, Michigan.  Online Event access is also available.

Start-up technologies are great, but it’s all about making people connections, learning and building relationships both for the present and the future.

The GAMIC Semifinals are the perfect opportunity to see the full spectrum of mobility innovation GAMIC brings together. From over 1500 invited applicants narrowed down to 100 quarterfinalists, 16 global startup innovators were selected to present their mobility solutions and roadmap to commercialization, to the audience and judges.

Besides amazing startup presentations, the semifinals include a panel discussion, keynote and networking opportunities.

After four weeks of competition prep advising from a cohort of nearly 40 mentors, the sixteen (16) semifinalists from ten (10) countries and three (3) states will compete for the chance to move on to the Finals at the SAE World Congress inside Detroit’s Huntington Place on April 7, 2025 at 1 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226.

The semifinals also provides an opportunity to meet, mingle and learn about leading technology and investment perspectives for high-value automotive technologies and innovations.  Winners at the Finals will share in-kind acceleration services (including targeted exposure to decision‐makers).

Location:  Live Event in Dearborn, MI and Virtual Event using Zoom Webinar (registration required)
